New Garden
We are novices as Square Foot Gardening. This is the last phase of our first effort. Most of it is trial and error. We have plants growing and seeds just just sprouting. There are just a few squares left for planting.
Roses and lilies.
The Joseph Coat roses and lilies are loving the cool wet spring this year. When the hot weather comes they will not be as happy!
The Mission Concert
Our local High School choirs gave a spring concert at the Mission in San Juan Bautista in April. This is the last concert for Jordan and Janae, who have sung with the choirs for 4 years. The acoustics in the Mission make the choirs sound heavenly. I love the this old Mission! It is hard to realize that Jordan and Janae will be graduating in a few short weeks.

THE BIG 18 BIRTHDAY !! Jordan and Janae celebrated their 18th birthday last Saturday, April 10th. Janae made and decorated the cake for the family party.

Laura and Matt
Laura, Matt and Lance were here visiting the 1st week of April. We just about worked Matt to death getting our Square Foot garden boxes built and set up. Here Laura and Matt are posing by the wisteria vine in the back yard.
