Justin and Anna's wedding
Justin and Anna executed a beautiful ball-room dance at their reception. They had practice for this occasion! After their first dance the Jonathan Lance family took to the floor and danced for a good 45 minutes! They are a Lance Dancing Machine! Scott took the pictures for the wedding and Lance Pettit did a great job as Master of Ceremonies. The reception was in Stockton, California, where Anna has lived and taught school. Her family lives in Grants Pass Oregon, but she has quite a few relatives in Stockton.

There was a crowd of friends and family to welcome the bride and groom. The bridesmaids (12 0f them) were all dressed in pink! The weather was perfect with a little ocean breeze and light cloud cover.

There was a large gathering in front of the temple. We were waiting for the bride and groom to appear. Jarom, Stephanie and Joanna and Cody came from Utah for the wedding.

Rory and daughters Sadie and Charlotte. Charlotte just turned a year old and it was Rory's birthday today!

Jon and Jan hosted a Pre-wedding barbecue for the Lance and Marsden family. There was lots of preparations going on with only five days before the wedding of Justin and Anna, June 18, 2011.

Thursday June 9th was the 8th grade graduation for Kendra and Kaley. It was held in the beautiful Gilroy Gardens west of Gilroy. After so much rain and overcast we finally had sun during the graduation. The girls are looking forward to High School next year.

We had a wonderful visit with Renae and Franco this Monday. They spent most of the day with us. Fortunately the day was warm so we could eat outside and enjoy the yard. Renae and Franco both work in Monterey. We are so looking forward to having them come again. All available family came over after our evening barbecue to say hello.

We have a resident squirrel in our back yard that has figured out how to get into the sunflower seeds in the bird feeder. Our bird bath is popular with the feathered crowd.
